2016 is an exciting year for the Castle Rock Senior Activity Center, as it's our 45th anniversary year. We began the year with a slight name change - adding the word "activity" to our public name to more accuately reflect who we are. We are a non-profit organization where people 50+ gather for activities at our community center, go places all over the Denver area in our fleet of vehicles, make friends for life, get involved in our community, try new things, stay active in sports and exercise, participate in special interest groups, eat often, laugh and just hang out together. We have about 900 members and have 140 activities a month to choose from. We also provide services and wellness activities for seniors and have a transportation program, with volunteer drivers, which provides more than 700 rides a month throughout Castle Rock and to medical appointments for those unable to drive, often allowing participants to stay independent.

We accept donations all year long through Colorado Gives and we thank you for considering joining our family of donors. We couldn't operate without people willing to contribute, and we promise that your sacrifice will be used to make enrich life or provide much needed services to seniors from the Castle Rock area. Donate because you are a senior or on behalf of a senior you love.
Stay tuned throughout 2016 as we have events and activities commemorating our 45th anniversary. If you were part of the early years of the Center, we would love to year your stories. Please contact Debbi or Deb at 303-688-9498.

We are so thrilled to be able to offer golfers the chance to play at this prestigious and private course. Please help us spread the word to area businesses to be sponsors (many offering the chance to have golfers) and to anyone who plays golf.

We are looking for baby items - homemade or store bought - because we are having a baby shower. That may be the strangest thing you'll hear at a Senior Center, but it's because we are providing for Denver's neediest newborns. Click the image below for a larger version.
