HISTORY

The Castle Rock Senior Center was started by a small group of people in Douglas County as a Senior Citizen Club in 1971. It has evolved as a nonprofit organization with membership of 750 people. It was incorporated in 1992 and received a 501 c(3) designation in 1993. Seven years ago we moved from our old renovated church building on Third Street, to a new facility built by the Town of Castle Rock adjacent to the Community Recreation Center. We have a Service Agreement with the Town of Castle Rock to provide services to the senior community.
