VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We welcome members and residents in the community to give their time and talents to the following volunteer opportunities. Contact the Center 303-688-9498 for more information on how you can help.
Weekly:
Receptionist
Shuttle Driver
Moo Mag Production
- Fundraising:
Work with Vice President of the Board of Directors serving as the Chairperson or on the event committee to organize the event, obtain door prizes and/or whatever it takes to make the event successful. - Leagues:
Serve on committee to organize, report and other duties related to sport. Golf, Bowling, Softball, Tennis. - Meals: Kitchen committee for various lunches, potlucks, teas, etc.
- Committees: The following are opportunities to assist the chairperson of the committee:
- Membership: Welcome new members by phone & mail. Recruit new members for possible volunteers.
- Publicity: Assist publicity chairperson with fundraisers and other informational opportunities.
- Activities: Choose and plan monthly social activities.
- Transportation: Assist chairperson with maintenance schedule of vehicles, driver training, and other duties as needed.
- Facilities : Maintain Center inventory of furniture and equipment.
- Serve as a member of the Board of Directors:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer.
A Board of Directors appoints committee chairpersons and sets Center Policy. The director is responsible for the day to day operations. We have a legal advisor and Town liaison.
We are responsible for raising all of our operating revenue and managing of expenses. We receive funding from the town and county for the services we provide for seniors in the area.
Our paid staff consists of a director, volunteer coordinator and administrative assistant.All other functions are accomplished by utilization of our many wonderful volunteers.
