Events
Our Senior Center organizes a wide variety of special events. These may be on-site or off-site and designed for a variety of purposes including fundraising, giving back to the community, socializing or learning something new.
Support the Center
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely on the generous support of community partners, grants, fundraisers and donations to operate. We appreciate any and all contributions, large and small. There are many ways to support our Center.
Transportation Services
Our Center provides rides to seniors in the Castle Rock area to go to doctors, shopping, on errands or to Senior Center activities. We have a fleet of vehicles and a team of passionate volunteer drivers for this very valuable and unique service to seniors.
Castle Rock Senior Activity Center
Live Fully. Stay Connected. Thrive Together.
For more than 55 years, the Castle Rock Senior Activity Center has been a vibrant hub for adults 50+ who are truly loving life in the second half. Today, our community includes about 1,400 members. We’re still growing.
Adults aged 60+ represent the fastest-growing population in Douglas County, Colorado. As the senior population expands, so does the energy and demand for meaningful connection, enrichment, and fun. As a nonprofit organization, we proudly serve a diverse mix of generations, from the GI Generation to Baby Boomers and Generation X, offering something for every interest, pace, and passion.
Whether you’re chasing a bucket-list adventure, joining a lively bridge group, or exploring something entirely new, you’ll find it here. Our wide range of programs includes:
- Exciting trips across Colorado and beyond
- Meal Program and Meals on Wheels
- Transportation Program
- Resources and Education
- Fitness, sports, and wellness activities
- Special interest groups and social clubs
- Community events, meals, and gatherings
- Connect and Care calls for those isolated
With our fleet of buses, members enjoy opportunities both at the Center and throughout the Denver area and beyond, making it easy to stay active, engaged, and connected.
We also offer essential support services, including transportation and nutrition programs for those who need them most. Our volunteer driver program provides local shuttle rides and trips to medical appointments, helping seniors maintain independence and peace of mind. In addition, our meal program, in conjunction with Meals on Wheels and Volunteers of America, ensures that older adults have access to nutritious food, whether they join us at the Center or receive meals delivered to their homes.
At the heart of it all? Friendship, laughter, and a welcoming community where you belong.
Come visit us anytime. We’d love to meet you.
